Veteran Actress Chided Actor for Casual Dress
In a recent interview, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi shared an amusing anecdote from his early career. He recounted an incident where veteran actress Jaya Bachchan reprimanded him for his casual attire at the airport.
'Chaddi Baniyan' at the Airport
Warsi recalled that during the production of "Tere Mere Sapne," he arrived at the airport in Mumbai wearing a loose "chaddi baniyan" (underwear and undershirt). He received a message from Bachchan expressing her disapproval of his outfit.
"Jaya ji messaged me and said, 'Are you mad? You're an actor. You need to dress properly. You're representing the industry,'" Warsi said.
Warsi admitted that he was embarrassed and immediately changed clothes. He said the incident taught him the importance of presenting a professional image.
